We are delighted to share that Knowledge Resource Centre Uttaranchal University conducted a two days’ Workshop cum Training Program entitled "Legal research through online legal database SCC Online & Hein Online" from 27th to 28th September 2022 for users of the Law College Dehradun (LCD).
Dr Ramveer Tanwar, University Librarian, welcomed the Hon’ble Pro VC & Dean, Prof. (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Asst. Professors, Librarian LCD, Resource person, Mr Rajesh Raina and Mr Mohit Singh, Senior Manager along with the UG and PG students. The university librarian briefed students about the resources and emphasised the utilisation of the library's resources. In the end, the University Librarian appreciated the efforts of Hon’ble Pro VC Prof. (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, who has always been cooperative and willing to organize such types of training programmes.
Hon’ble Pro VC Prof. (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Dean Law College, Dehradun addressed the users and motivated them to take maximum advantage of the subscribed e-resources. Experts Mr Rajesh Raina and Mr Mohit Singh, Senior Manager, explored the tools and techniques to access the e-resource databases of SCC Online and Hein Online.
Mr Muktendra Rawat, Librarian, Law College Dehradun, coordinated the training session and briefed the students about off-campus access to electronic resources through the Knimbus remote access facility. The session was attended by more than 1528 students of LCD and was very interactive and informative.
