Law College Dehradun organized Youth Conclave 2.0

 

Law College Dehradun, faculty of Uttaranchal University organized “YOUTH CONCLAVE 2.0”, under the aegis of Youth Parliament Society on 21 February 2023. It comprised of an international committee namely United Nations General Assembly with the agenda- Impact of Global Dominion Nations in the operation of United Nations, an Indian committee namely All India Political Parties Meet with the agenda Deliberation on the status of Indian economy with special reference to economic inequality and political intervention and third committee namely Indian/International Press. The Chief guest of the event was Prof. Dr. Abhishek Joshi, Executive Director - Student Affairs & IT Services in the presence of Patron Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro-Vice Chancellor Uttaranchal University, Dean Law College Dehradun, Dr. Poonam Rawat HOD Law, and Dr. Bhawna Arora, chairperson of Youth Parliament Society, Law College Dehradun. The event was opened officially in the opening ceremony by Secretary General, Shubham Kashyap.

The event was divided into two consecutive sessions on the same day. The first session started at 10:00AM and the second session started at 02:15PM and it was concluded at 05:00PM. The event was culminated on a good note with the event being declared closed in the valedictory ceremony on the same day. The event proved to induce the spirit of diplomacy and provide knowledge and experience regarding the working of Indian Parliament and United Nations.
