The Mechanical Engineering Department of Uttaranchal University is resolute in fulfilling the Institute's vision and mission. To fortify the prospects of tomorrow's talent, a seminar on "EMPLOYMENT LINKED SKILL DEVELOPMENT" was conducted in collaboration with Made Easy on 07 October 2022. The event targeted pre-final and final year B Tech students from Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The primary objective was to enlighten engineering graduates about cracking exams like Civil Services, Engineering Services, GATE, PSUs, and other competitive exams, along with exploring career options post B Tech.
The inauguration transpired at the Seminar Hall, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, marked by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by esteemed dignitaries. Mr Jitendra Tiwari, an educationalist, and Mr Sreekanth Srivastava, a Marketing Executive from MADE EASY, were keynote speakers. The event was presided over by Prof (Dr) S D Pandey, Dean UIT, with Heads of all departments and faculty members in attendance.
Prof (Dr) S D Pandey underscored the importance of preparing for competitive examinations and related them to recruitment in Maharatana, Navratana, and Miniratna companies through GATE. The keynote speaker, Mr Jitendra Tiwari is well known for his record in memorizing the GRE Barrons dictionary, imparted innovative learning methods to the students. The workshop was conducted under the guidance of Dr SK Joshi.
