The School of Liberal Arts, Uttaranchal University organized an interactive session on 'Happiness for success' on October 07, 2022, on 'World Smile Day’ under the aegis of the office of Dean Student WelfareThe event was inaugurated by the lighting of the lamp by the Hon'ble Chancellor of the University, Shri Jitender Joshi Ji, guest speaker, Ms. Jyotika Bedi, and other dignitaries. The speaker of the event, Ms Jyotika Bedi, a prominent Tedx Speaker, Positive Psychologist, and Founder of Happiness Is Love discussed the importance of behaviour like gratitude, supporting others, and meditation in promoting happiness. She engaged the students in constructive communication and allows them to express their feelings about happiness, love and the meaning of life. Ms. Bedi also used various techniques like role play, storytelling, and others to encourage students towards leading a blissful life.
