Hospitality Club, Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management, Uttaranchal University organised an Industrial Visit to Antara Senior Living, Dehradun on 07th October 2022 for the first year students of USHHM.Mr.Surendra Singh Bhakuni, Assistant Professor was the coordinator of the visit, which was guided by Mr. Manish Badoni, Principal, USHHM.
The objective of the visit was to provide first year students with an insight into the hotel world. It provided students with a practical real-world perspective on different functions of a hotel, such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Marketing, HR, etc.
The group of students and faculties was welcomed by Ms.Hardeep Jas Narnauliya, Head-Learning & Development. First, she briefed everyone about the company, its vision, mission and its Products through a PPT session. Thereafter, students were divided into two groups and the groups were escorted by the Ms.Narnauliya and her assistant to different sections of the hotel premises & explained their working.
She invited queries from the student at the end. Many students raised their queries and she responded to them aptly and with proper details. Students were elated by this exposure. The visit proved to be a great learning experience for students. The session concluded with tea & snacks.
