Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University organized a two week (22July-04 August 2022) Online Faculty Development Program on “Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on Industry 4.0 And Healthcare System”.
The objective of the FDP was to introduce the participants to Artificial Intelligence and its impacts on the Industry and Healthcare system. This FDP proved to be an eye-opening session for beginner and researchers, and also aimed at imparting the skills required to introduces various AI & ML algorithms and research strategies to be adopted for effective & efficient processing of medical images through computer vision. This FDP allows robust collaborations between AI researchers and health practitioners to discuss on socio-technological challenges and come up with state-of-the-art technology directions in the interdisciplinary field of engineering and medicine. This FDP intended to orient participants towards developing their own research plans, paying due attention to every stage of research.
Speakers from reputed Institutions and Industry were the part of the FDP. The FDP was attended by 141 faculty members and Researcher from pharmacy background of more than 40 different Institute and University.
The program inaugurated with the virtual curtain raising and traditional lamp lighting as a tribute to Goddess Saraswati, by our Hon. Chancellor Mr. Jitender Joshi, Vice President Prof. SSSehgal,Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Dean Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmolaand HOD, Dr. Amit Semwal along with the UIPS faculty members.Dean Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola in his address note, welcomed our all prestigious and renowned speakers of the FDP.
