Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University organised a "One Day Workshop on Interview Skills Development" on April 07, 2022 for pharmacy students on the virtual platform of MS Teams. Mr. Sumit Haryana, Deputy Manager HR, Alembic PharmaceuticalPvtwas the guest speaker for the workshop.
The Worksop was inaugurated with a welcome note of Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean, UIPS. He welcomed Mr. Sumit and emphasised the importance of necessary skills required for facing an interview.
Mr. Sumit explained some easy steps that one can take to increase the chances of success at interviews. He discussed about the guidelines for interview preparation and suggested the key points for self-assessment measures one can take. The overall session was very informative and knowledgeable.
The workshop was attended by more than 200 attendees, including faculties and students. The session ended with the questions and answers session. Students of B. Pharm. final year asked number of questions regarding soft skills and interview skill. At the endvote of thanks was presented by Dr. Amit Semwal, Head of Department UIPS. The workshop was well coordinated by Dr. Tarun Parashar, Associate Professor, Mrs. Alka Singh, Assistant Professor, Mrs. Kiran Dobhal, Associate Professor UIPS.
