Hospitality club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management conducted an event on the occasion of International Hospitality Day 2022, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Dean, UIM, Uttaranchal University, Associate Professor, Manish Badoni, HoD, Hotel Management and All faculty members. International Hospitality Day is celebrated across India and the world by hoteliers and hospitality professionals. The objective was to dedicate one day in the year to the hospitality industry and Celebrate, Promote and Educate in Hospitality. "International Hospitality Day brings together all the professionals who work in this industry throughout the world under one umbrella and celebrates the success of this industry.
Keeping the above in mind International Hospitality Day 2022 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and gusto by the Hospitality Club, Department of Management, Uttaranchal University on 27th April 2022. The first event was the “Chef Competition” which was based on cooking one food dish of choice and preparing one mocktail by the students of BHM. Total of five teams participated in this event. The objective behind the competition was to inculcate healthy food habits and spread awareness about the choice of food among the youth. The participants’ creativity showcased the beautiful designs and patterns formed with different mouth-watering food items.

II Position Team: Mr. Mr. Vidit Pal, Mr. Mohit Devrani & Mr. Sumit Prasad
The second event was a Poster making competition based on the theme of Hospitality & Tourism.

In the end, Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri Dean-UIM presented certificates to the winners of the event and blessed them for all future endeavours. He also extended his wishes and motivated all the faculty members to initiate more activities for students to share their knowledge.
