On 21 August 2026, the Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management (USHHM), Uttaranchal University, organized an informative and career-oriented session focusing on career opportunities for hospitality students in foreign countries. The session was conducted by Mr. Devinder Kumar Mallick from Capstone Education, who provided students with valuable insights into international career pathways and the professional opportunities available in the global hospitality industry.
A major focus of the session was on career readiness and international placement preparation. Mr. Mallick explained the various stages involved in pursuing overseas employment, including career counselling, identification of suitable opportunities, interview preparation, documentation, and visa-related procedures. He also emphasized the importance of developing a professional attitude and being adequately prepared to meet the expectations of international employers.
