As part of the Deeksharambh 2026- Student Orientation cum Induction Program for newly admitted students, the Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences organised an orientation session on “Mulya Pravah 2.0: Inculcation of Human Values and Professional Ethics in Higher Education Institutions” on 21st August, 2026. The program was designed to help students begin their academic journey with a clear understanding of the values and conduct expected of them as members of the college community and healthcare professionals.
During the session, a guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Sushma Rani Jaiswal, Associate Professor, School of Liberal Arts, who spoke about the importance of integrity, mutual respect, discipline, and responsible behaviour in campus life. The speaker encouraged students to make the most of their learning experience by being regular, punctual, courteous, and open-minded. Special emphasis was placed on respecting people from diverse backgrounds and developing a spirit of harmony, empathy, and cooperation among peers. Students were also reminded that caring for the campus, using institutional facilities responsibly, and maintaining appropriate behaviour during academic visits and outdoor activities reflect their character and professionalism.
Overall, the program motivated the new entrants to grow not only as capable students but also as ethical, compassionate, and socially responsible future professionals.
