The eight-day Faculty Development Programme on “Holistic Mental Health, Digital Innovation, and Multidisciplinary Pedagogy: Advancing Inclusive and Sustainable Higher Education” was conducted online from 23-30 July 2026 by the Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences Uttaranchal University. More than 85 delegates actively participated in the interactive discussions. The inaugural session was graced by the esteemed Director of SLA & Principal, UCHS, who welcomed both participants and resource persons. A welcome note was proposed by Dr. Rati Sood, followed by addresses from Patron and Director-SLA, Prof. (Dr.) Kartikey and conference opening remarks by Prof. (Dr.) Reeta Rautela and Dr. Shashank Kumar.
On Day 1, Dr. Hiranmoy Roy discussed sustainable education while Ms. Pooja Jaiswal highlighted psychological interventions for mental health. On Day 2, Dr. Amaresh Jha discussed the transformative role of AI in education and Dr. B. K. Jha explained the significance of digital resources in education. Day 3 featured Dr. Shinu Vig, who emphasized integrating SDGs into curriculum, while Mr. Anil Kumar Bharti focused on the role of broadcast media in promoting mental health. On Day 5, Dr. Laxmi Priya Vinjamuri underlined diversity, equity, and accessibility in inclusive education, and Dr. Gopal Krishna, discussed balancing AI innovation with human values. Day 6 included Dr. Subin Mathew on innovative hospital management and Prof. Radhey Shyam Jha on ethics for faculty. Day 7 featured Dr. Anupama Arya on university–community partnerships and Er. Rajesh Deorari on interdisciplinary collaboration. On Day 8, Dr. Manisha Sharma and Dr. Shagufta Praveen highlighted digital innovation in education.
