A two-day international conference on the theme “Sustainable Health: Intelligent Technologies, Challenges–Opportunities, and Ethics in Allied Health” was organized by Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences in collaboration with ISRT Uttarakhand Chapter on 14–15 March 2025 at Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, in hybrid mode. The conference witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Vice President of Uttaranchal University, Ms. Ankita Joshi; Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi; Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna; Director, UCHS, Prof. (Dr.) Kartikey; President, ISRT, Uttarakhand Chapter, Mr. Mahender Singh Bhandari; Chief Guest, Additional Commissioner, Food & Drug Administration, Drug Controller, Uttarakhand, Mr. Tajber Singh; and Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Arya, Director of Medical Education, Uttarakhand, who graced the parallel sessions as the Chief Guest, encompassing paper presentations, poster presentations, and symposiums; and Guest of Honour, Additional Director of Medical Education, Uttarakhand & Medical Superintendent of Government Doon Medical College & Hospital, Professor (Dr.) R.S. Bisht. The conference intended to bring together academicians, healthcare professionals, researchers, and industry representatives to discuss emerging trends and innovations in allied health sciences. Key objectives included providing national and international platforms for knowledge exchange, promoting collaboration among allied health professionals, disseminating recent research findings, and encouraging young researchers to engage in evidence-based practice. 


The conference covered a wide range of allied health domains with distinguished keynote speakers, plenary experts, and invited international speakers, including Prof. (Dr.) Ranjay Kumar Choudhary, Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, College of Applied and Health Sciences, A’Sharqiyah University, Ibra, Sultanate of Oman; Dr. Mohd. Sidiq, Head-Scientific Committee, Physiotherapy Department, Tishk International University, Erbil, Iraq; and Dr. Einas A. Osman, Health Sciences Department, College of Applied and Health Sciences, A' Sharqiyah University, Ibra, Oman, sharing insights on intelligent healthcare technologies, ethical practices, occupational safety, and sustainable healthcare systems. The event featured distinguished national speakers, including Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Chand Bansal, Professional Council Member MRITT NCAHP MOH&FW GOI; Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Pant, Department of Optometry, Faculty of Paramedical Sciences, U.P. University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah (U.P.); Prof. (Dr.) Sukhbir Singh, Department of Hospital Administration, Pt. BDS PGIMS, Rohtak; Dr. Nidhi Kumar, Department of Anesthesia, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Swami Rama Himalayan University, Dehradun; Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Srivastava, Department of Radio-diagnosis.

More than 1,414 delegates participated in the event, strengthening interdisciplinary collaborations, promoting research dissemination, and contributing to sustainable and ethical healthcare practices globally. The conference received over 40 research paper submissions and 50 poster submissions in both online and offline categories. To recognize outstanding research contributions, awards were presented for the 10 best papers and 5 best posters. A cultural gala evening on Day 1 further enriched the event by celebrating cultural diversity and fostering networking among participants. 


The conference was meticulously planned and executed under the guidance of the convenor, Prof. (Dr.) Kartikey, along with the dedicated organizing team from the Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences. The technical sessions and overall event organization were efficiently coordinated by Rohit Ranjan, Nidhi Sharma, and Shashank Kumar. Overall, the conference proved to be a significant platform for knowledge sharing, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the advancement of allied health sciences.
