Law College Dehradun celebrated Children’s Day on 13 November 2025 in the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium of Uttaranchal University under the aegis of the Cultural Society. The program was graced by the presence of our honorable Chief Guest, Mrs. Anuradha Joshi; our Guest of Honor for the day, Shri Jitendra Joshi, President of Uttaranchal University; followed by Dr. Ankita Joshi, Vice-President; Prof. Dr. Dharam Buddhi, Vice-Chancellor; and Prof. Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of Law College Dehradun. The event was organized under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Prerna Kainthola, Chairperson of the Cultural Society, and Faculty Advisors Mr. Ashok Dobhal and Mrs. Nandini Majumdar.
The program began with the anchors of the day, Ms. Yashi Pandey and Ms. Maulikta Rojus, warmly welcoming the dignitaries and the audience on behalf of the entire Cultural Society. They also highlighted the importance of Children’s Day. Prof. Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna, in his address, congratulated the entire team of the Cultural Society for the successful organization of the program. The cultural event commenced with a spectacular dance performance by Richa Pathoi, mesmerizing the audience, followed by a meticulous duet of shayari that enlivened the atmosphere. Soon after, a soulful and ebullient group singing performance enchanted the hall. This was followed by a very entertaining and humorous skit prepared by the first-year students. A lucky draw event was held to engage the audience, and the winners were awarded hampers accordingly. Leading further, a soulful rendition by the band ‘TAPASSV’ captivated the audience.
Ms. Nandini Majumdar, Faculty Advisor of the Cultural Society, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing her heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries, the Chairperson, faculty members, office bearers, and all members of the Cultural Society for the successful planning, management, and execution of the program.
