The Uttaranchal College of Nursing, under Uttaranchal University, organized an enlightening seminar on German Language Training and Overseas Nursing Opportunities on 10th October 2025.
The session was coordinated by Dr. Alok Saxena, Campus Placement Director, and Dr. Midhu Kurian, Dean, Uttaranchal College of Nursing. The event featured eminent speakers Mr. Jan Ebben, Director of People2Help, and Ms. Parima Sharma, who shared valuable insights into international career pathways for nurses.
Mr. Ebben guided students through the complete migration process — from learning the German language (B1/B2 levels) to credential recognition, visa procedures, and relocation logistics. Ms. Sharma further discussed the advantages of working in Germany, highlighting high remuneration, excellent working conditions, social security benefits, and career stability.
Under the leadership of Dr. Saxena and the motivation of Dr. Kurian, students were inspired to pursue global nursing opportunities with determination and discipline. The interactive session addressed students’ queries on certification, documentation, and adaptation to the foreign healthcare environment.
By the end of the seminar, participants felt motivated, confident, and well-prepared to explore international nursing careers — marking a significant step toward building a globally competent nursing workforce.
