National Unity Day observed at Uttaranchal University

The School of Agriculture, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, celebrated National Unity Day on 31st October 2025 under the aegis of the National Service Scheme (NSS) to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The celebration aimed to promote the spirit of unity, peace, and integrity among students. 

The programme commenced with an oath-taking ceremony, during which faculty members and students pledged to uphold the unity and integrity of the nation and to foster the spirit of Nation First among all. 

A rally was also organized on the university campus, led by Dr. Gaurav Jain, NSS Coordinator, School of Agriculture. Many students participated enthusiastically, carrying placards and chanting slogans highlighting the importance of national unity. Prof. (Dr.) Sharad Pandey, Director, School of Agriculture, Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Prasad, Head of Department, and all faculty members accompanied the students during the rally, making the event both inspiring and impactful.
