Law College Dehradun organized Project Ehsaas 1.0 under the aegis of the Rotaract Club on 1st October 2025 at Gauri Old Age Home, Premnagar, Dehradun, to mark the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons. The event was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Navya Shrivastav, Chairperson, and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 13 students, which made it a truly memorable and heartwarming experience.
The core objective of Project Ehsaas was to honor the invaluable presence of the elderly in our society and to strengthen the bond between generations. The program was filled with meaningful interactions as the students engaged with the residents, listening to their life stories, experiences, and words of wisdom.
To celebrate the occasion, a cake-cutting ceremony was held, symbolizing joy and togetherness. The students also distributed fruit among the elderly as a gesture of care and goodwill, bringing smiles and a deep sense of belonging to all present.
The event concluded with an expression of heartfelt gratitude on both sides – the elderly shared their happiness, while the students acknowledged the invaluable lessons they had gained.
