The Globe Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management Organizes ‘Shram Daan’ or ‘Cleanliness Drive’ at Railway Station Dehradun

The Globe Club of Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM) organised ‘Shram Daan’ and a ‘Cleanliness Drive’ on 25th September 2025 at the Railway Station, Dehradun, in association with Jai-Youth Wing Shri Nityanand Swami Jan Sewa Samiti, Dehradun. The initiative was carried out with the support and promotion of Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Director, UIM; Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma, Director, USCS; and Dr. Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM. 

The event was coordinated by Mr. Rohit Dhiman, Head of the Globe Club, with the cooperation of the club members, police personnel and railway staff on duty, who extended their good wishes and appreciation for the commendable work of the students. Many students from UIM and USCS actively participated in the drive, displaying zealous enthusiasm and commitment towards keeping the environment clean while spreading awareness about civic sense and the responsibilities of society in maintaining environmental cleanliness. 

The highlight of the event was the Nukkad Natak, which became the centre of attraction, drawing a large audience and receiving overwhelming applause. The powerful street play effectively conveyed the message of cleanliness and social responsibility. 

The event was a great success, leaving a strong impact on the participants as well as the onlookers, and further strengthened the commitment of Uttaranchal University students towards social and environmental causes.
