On 29th September 2025, on the occasion of World Heart Day, an awareness event was organized in the college cafeteria to spread knowledge about heart health and encourage everyone to take pledges for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. A standee was placed where students, faculty, and external audience participants wrote their pledges to keep their hearts healthy.

The program began with a brief introduction by Atul (3rd Semester), who highlighted the importance and significance of World Heart Day.

Following this, Sakshi (3rd Semester) shared valuable information on the causes, risk factors, and symptoms of heart disease.

Prince (3rd Semester) then explained various preventive measures for a heart attack.

After the talks, students actively came forward to share their personal pledges on how they plan to keep their hearts healthy. This was initiated by the Dean of Uttaranchal College of Nursing, followed by faculty members, then students, and the audience.

All participants wrote their pledges on the standee, which became a symbolic representation of the collective commitment towards heart health.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and external audience members. Everyone engaged in the interactive session and contributed positively.

The World Heart Day event turned out to be an interactive and impactful session. It not only increased awareness regarding heart health but also motivated everyone to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The pledges taken and displayed on the standee reflected the collective spirit of the participants in promoting heart care.
