The Alumni Cell of UIM successfully organised a Webinar titled “Spark the Future: Alumni Inspire, Freshers Aspire” on 18 August 2025 at 11:00 AM. The distinguished speaker for the session was Mr. Atul, an esteemed alumnus of the UIM, MBA batch (2013–15), who is presently serving as Mission Manager (IT), Bihar Skill Development Mission, Labour Resources Department, Government of Bihar, with over nine years of professional experience.
The session began with Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Director of UIM, welcomed the alumnus and shared the glance of his remarkable journey in Uttaranchal University. Mr. Atul initiated the session with a brief introduction of his career trajectory. He emphasized the importance of setting future goals and provided clarity on the real meaning of success, highlighting that success is a continuous journey rather than a destination. He also shared valuable insights on leadership, team management, and marketing strategies, stressing their importance for achieving success, particularly for budding entrepreneurs.
Further, Mr. Atul shed light on the difference between choosing a career and achieving success within it, encouraging students to remain adaptable and resilient. He elaborated on the major challenges in government employment, while also underlining the growing importance of entrepreneurship, start-ups, and skill-based ventures in today’s competitive landscape. His expertise in digital governance, project management, and public-private partnerships provided freshers with practical insights into exploring careers in government initiatives, technology integration, and social impact.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, followed by a formal vote of thanks proposed by Prof (Dr) Tilottama Singh, HoD, UIM who acknowledged Mr. Atul’s valuable contribution and motivating presence.
The webinar conducted on a high note encouraging freshers to dream big, embrace innovation, and shape their careers with confidence and determination.
