The seminar was organised for the new batch as part of Deeksharambh 2025. The event was graced by Mr Saurav Badoni, Advisor, Uttaranchal University, and Mr Alok Saxena, Director, Corporate Resource Centre, Uttaranchal University.
Mr Saurav Badoni spoke about the importance of having an aim in life and how developing soft skills can help students secure their dream jobs. He further shared with the audience how the corporate world actually functions, offering real-time insights into the current placement scenario.
He reinforced his message through two inspiring videos, highlighting the need to never let dreams fade and to consistently take steps towards achieving them. He reminded students that everyone reaches their goals in their own time, emphasising that they are not falling behind but are instead progressing at their own pace.
The session was highly interactive, with Mr Saurav Badoni engaging with students by seeking their perspectives and encouraging them to share their thoughts, helping to build the confidence essential for success in the professional world. The event concluded with a powerful address followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Prof (Dr) Pradeep Suri, Director, Uttaranchal Institute of Management.
