Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University organized a seminar on “Shape Your Social Responsibility with youth” by Mr. Vinayak S. Swami, President JAI -Youth Wing Shri Nityanand Swami Jan Seva Samiti on 25th August 2025 for the first year students to motivate and guide students toward understanding their responsibilities in society and their role in building a better future. The seminar aimed to encourage young minds to develop leadership qualities, ethical values, and a sense of social responsibility.
The event commenced with a warm welcome, followed by the honoring of the guest by Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma, Director-USCS. She emphasized the importance of youth involvement in social development and encouraged students to actively participate in such motivational sessions.
Mr. Swami shared delivered an inspiring talk on the role of youth in shaping society. During his session, he highlighted the importance of self-discipline, positive thinking, and responsible decision-making. He also motivated students to utilize their energy and potential in constructive activities that contribute to personal growth and nation-building. The NGO focuses on various initiatives such as plantation drives, Shikshadaan, Shramdaan, social internships, Srijan, awareness campaigns, women’s hygiene camps, and marathons.
The seminar proved to be highly insightful and motivating for the students. Participants gained valuable perspectives on how young individuals can take responsibility for their actions and contribute positively to society.
Under the guidance of Dr. Sameer Dev Sharma HoD-USCS the event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Manisha Saini and Ms. Manisha Khanduja with the support of Mr. Harshit Gupta, Ms. Divya Rawat, volunteer students and technical staff.
