Uttaranchal University proudly celebrated its Placement Success Day on 13 May 2025, marking an extraordinary milestone in campus recruitment for the academic year 2024–25. The event was held to honour and recognise the outstanding achievements of students who secured placements in leading organisations across various sectors.
The celebration was graced by the visionary leadership of Mr Jitender Joshi, President, Uttaranchal University, who delivered an inspiring congratulatory address. He commended the students for their perseverance and hard work, stating, “Your achievements are not just a personal success but a testament to the university’s commitment to nurturing talent and creating global professionals. We are immensely proud of each one of you.”
In a moment of great pride, Mr Saurav Badoni, Advisor Placements, announced that over 2500+ students from diverse programs have been successfully placed this year, with more than 750+ companies visiting the university campus for recruitment – a record-breaking achievement that reflects the university's strong industry connect and academic excellence.
Mr Badoni also extended a heartfelt thank you note, acknowledging the relentless efforts of the placement cell, faculty coordinators, corporate partners, and the university leadership. He stated, “This accomplishment is the result of collective dedication. We are grateful for the support of our university leadership and faculty, who stood by us every step of the way. Our focus remains on enhancing student employability and forging deeper industry-academia partnerships.”
The event was held in the esteemed presence of Ms Ankita Joshi, Vice- President, Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi,Vice Chancellor, Dr Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr Abhishek Joshi, Executive Director, Mr Arun Godiyal, Director CRC and all the Directors of respective schools/colleges/Institutes.
Their presence added prestige to the celebration and inspired the students to aim higher as they embark on their professional journeys.
The Placement Success Day concluded with the felicitation of placed students, testimonials, and an enthusiastic celebration of their accomplishments. Uttaranchal University continues to strengthen its industry linkages and remains committed to empowering students for successful, impactful careers.
