The Alumni Cell of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, organized a seminar in collaboration with UIM alumnus Mr. Ravi Ranjan from the MBA 2011–2013 batch, currently working as an SEO Analyst at Coalition Technologies. The seminar titled “Mastering SEO: Strategies for Digital Success” was held on 4 April 2025 at 2:00 PM in the UIM Seminar Hall. The program began with opening remarks by Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Director of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, who emphasized the importance of digital literacy and how mastering SEO can provide students with a competitive edge in today’s job market.
The seminar aimed to equip students with practical, industry-relevant SEO strategies. Mr. Ravi Ranjan delivered an engaging session that covered a wide range of modern SEO practices, including website optimization, content strategy, and the role of search engine algorithms. He highlighted the significance of analytics-driven strategies and shared real-life examples from his professional journey to make the session insightful and relatable. Additionally, he spoke about his placement journey during his MBA, his corporate exposure, and how students can leverage their academic experiences to explore better career opportunities.
The key takeaways from the seminar included valuable insights into the evolving landscape of SEO and its growing impact on digital marketing. Students gained practical knowledge on techniques to optimize websites for improved search engine visibility and learned about the increasing role of artificial intelligence and automation in modern SEO strategies.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A round where students actively participated and clarified their doubts. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Pooja Devi, Head Alumni Cell, who motivated students to adopt digital tools and stay updated with market trends.
