“Bridging the Gap Between Classroom Learning and Industry Practices”
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT), successfully organized an industrial visit to Slog Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Dehradun, on 4th April 2025. The visit was part of the department's ongoing commitment to providing students with hands-on exposure to real-world industry environments and operations.
A group of 50 students, accompanied by faculty members, participated in the visit. The objective was to offer students practical insights into the workings of a leading IT firm and to familiarize them with the latest trends in software development, cybersecurity, and project management methodologies.
At Slog Solutions Pvt. Ltd., students were warmly welcomed by the company’s technical team. A detailed session was conducted by industry experts, who covered the company’s core areas of operation, ongoing projects, client handling strategies, and the use of modern technologies in software development. The team also demonstrated live projects and shared valuable career guidance and tips on meeting industry expectations for budding engineers.
Dr. Madhu Kirola, Head of the CSE Department, expressed her gratitude to Slog Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for their support and collaboration. Students actively interacted with the professionals, asking questions and engaging in discussions current technologies. The visit concluded with a vote of thanks and a group photo to commemorate the memorable occasion.
