The School of Liberal Arts successfully organized a workshop for Journalism and Mass Communication students an insightful Photography Workshop titled "Light & Shadow — Through the Eye of the Camera" with renowned visual storyteller Mr Bhumesh Bharti as the guest speaker and mentor. The event aimed to enhance the practical knowledge and creative vision of students in the field of photography by exploring the artistic and technical nuances of light and shadow. 

Held in an engaging and interactive format, the workshop began with a warm welcome extended to Mr Bharti, followed by an inaugural note by the Prof (Dr) Shravan Kumar Director, School of Liberal Arts, who emphasized the significance of visual literacy in the modern media landscape. 

The workshop witnessed active participation from students and was graced by the presence of members of Faculty of Mass Communication, who also contributed to the discussion on the evolving role of photography in storytelling and journalism. 

Mr Bhumesh Bharti, with his extensive experience and creative insight, introduced participants to various techniques of lighting, composition, and the play of shadow in photography. Students were also given hands-on opportunities to practice under Mr Bharti's guidance. The interactive session allowed participants to experiment, ask questions, and receive real-time feedback on their compositions. 

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks extended to the guest by Ms Shikha Negi, coordinator of the event.
