Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University, organized the IT-UTSAV 3.0 on 11th April 2025, a mega inter-university technical fest that brought together brilliant minds from across the region. The event was a grand success, with the active participation of more than 1000 students from prestigious institutions such as NIT Srinagar, GEU, Shivalik College, HIT, Alpine, Amrapali, HNBGU, UPES, Maya Devi, Swami Rama Himalayan and many other universities and colleges. The aim was to create an environment that stimulates curiosity, fosters learning, and celebrates the limitless possibilities of technology.
Various events such as "Code ke Boss", "Web ke Khiladi", "Charavyooh", “Cyber Challenge-HeckFest”, "Prashan Baan," "Parche pe Charcha", "Avishkar", “Robo Race”, “Gaming ke Dhurandhar", "Tech Treasure”, “Escape Room”, “Animated Story Telling”, ”Ideathon”, “Reel Making” and "Shodh Dhaara" were featured, offering participants diverse opportunities to engage, compete, and innovate in the realm of computing science.
The IT-UTSAV was graced by the esteemed presence Chief Guest Prof. Durgesh Pant (Director General-UCOST), Guest of Honour Mr. Subhajit Bhattacharya (Associate Vice President-Innovation and Principal, Accenture), Shri Jitender Joshi Ji (President, Uttaranchal University), Ms. Anuradha Joshi Ji (Vice Chairperson, Sushila Devi), Ms. Ankita Joshi (Vice-President, Uttaranchal University), Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, (Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University), Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna,(Pro Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University), Dr. Abhishek Joshi (Executive Director-Student Affairs & IT Services), Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma (Director, USCS), Mr. Ashok (Director, Ensino), Dr. Sameer Dev Sharma (HoD, USCS).
Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma warmly welcomed all dignitaries and shared that IT-UTSAV acts as a catalyst for creativity by uniting academic and industry minds to explore tech frontiers. Prof. (Dr.) Durgesh Pant congratulated USCS for this impactful initiative, fostering innovation, collaboration, and holistic student growth. The day concluded with a vibrant cultural evening filled with music, dance, and drama, celebrating unity and creativity with unmatched enthusiasm.
