Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University, organized a five-day educational tour, “Ecological Survey in Manali,” from 28th March 2025 to 1st April 2025 for the students of MCA, BCA and B.Sc. (IT). The primary objective of the educational tour was to provide students with practical exposure beyond the classroom, enhance their understanding of ecological systems through field-based learning in Manali, and foster personal development through cultural interaction and teamwork.

Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma, Director of USCS, extended her best wishes and encouragement to the students. Her support played a vital role in motivating them for a journey that became a perfect blend of educational value, cultural exploration, and personal growth.

More than 40 students embarked on an unforgettable journey to Manali, beginning with visits to the serene Manu and Hadimba Temples, a scenic trek to Jogni Falls, and an enjoyable evening at Mall Road on 29th March. The adventure peaked on 30th March with thrilling snow activities like sledging and zip-lining at Atal Tunnel and Sissu Village, followed by cozy bonfires, music, and dance at the hotel.

The group returned to Dehradun on April 1st with hearts full of cherished memories. This educational tour and industrial visit offered a perfect mix of learning, adventure, and cultural exploration—enriching them both academically and personally.

Under the guidance of Dr. Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD USCS the educational tour was successfully coordinated by Mr. Agman Kaparwan with the support of Dr. Monisha Awasthi and Mr. Deepak Pant.
