Spreading Warmth, Sharing Happiness by Cloth Donation Drive

Spreading Warmth, Sharing Happiness- The Prakriti Club of Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University, organized a Cloth Donation Drive in collaboration with Nityanand Swami Jan Sewa Samiti on 4 February 2025, near a slum area with significant support from Mr Vinayak Sharma Swami, President, Jai-Youth Wing, whose leadership and coordination played a crucial role in organizing the donation drive efficiently. 

 The primary goal of the drive was to encourage sustainable living by collecting gently used clothes and distributing them to those in need. This effort not only helped protect the less fortunate from the harsh winter but also instilled a deep sense of empathy and humanitarian values within the university community. 

On this occasion, Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Director USCS, appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of giving back to society. 

Under the guidance Ms Manisha Khanduja, Head-Prakriti Club, USCS the drive was successfully coordinated by Ms Noopur Dass, Mr Aagman Kaparwan and Ms Pallavi Raj with the support of volunteer students.
