Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS), Uttaranchal University organized a highly informative Awareness Program on Cyber Security with Mile-2 to educate students on the growing challenges and best practices in cybersecurity. The session aimed to enhance participants' understanding of cyber threats, ethical hacking, data protection, and secure online behavior.
The session was led by Mr Vikram Srivastava Manager, Mile-2 a seasoned expert in the field of cyber security. The event commenced with the auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by the felicitation of esteemed guest speaker from Mile-2, who was presented with tokens of appreciation as a gesture of gratitude for their invaluable contributions.
Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Director USCS extended heartfelt gratitude to the expert. She emphasized the importance of cyber hygiene and security protocols in both personal and professional settings.
Mr Srivastava covered critical topics such as ethical hacking, data protection, cyber threats, and security best practices. Through real-world case studies and interactive discussions, students gained a comprehensive understanding of cyber risks and how to mitigate them effectively. He emphasized the significance of cyber hygiene, secure online behavior, and the latest advancements in cybersecurity.
