Faculty of Uttaranchal college of Nursing ,Uttaranchal University organized a educational visiton 22/11/2024 , for B.Sc Nursing 6th semester students .This visit experience likely provided the students with valuable insights into the care and conditions of children with various mental and developmental challenges.

The visit to a school catering to children with conditions like Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Mental Retardation, Rett Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities would have given them a deeper understanding of the diverse needs of these children. Observing how these conditions are addressed in a specialized environment and the role of educators and caregivers would have been especially beneficial for nursing students, as they can apply this knowledge to future clinical settings or their roles in supporting children and families.

Dr. Shivani Kotnala, the Director of The Learning Tree Special School, seems to have provided a great learning opportunity by opening the doors of the school to future healthcare professionals, offering them a chance to see firsthand how different educational and therapeutic methods are used to support children with various conditions. The visit could also encourage future collaboration between nursing professionals and special education schools to ensure comprehensive care for children with special needs. Students interact with such kind of  children’s and after that Ms.Jagrity Sharma ,Assistant Professor ,Uttaranchal College Nursing gave heartfelt thanks to them for the wonderful visit for the Nursing Students .
