The two-day Conference on “Nanomaterials & Green Technology for Viksit Bharat ‘Mission 2047’ (ICNMGT-2025)” was held on 28 and 29 November 2025 at Uttaranchal University, Dehradun. The inauguration was conducted by Mr. Abhinav Kumar, Chief Guest and Additional Director General, Intelligence, UK; Shri Jitender Joshi; Ms. Ankita Joshi; Prof. Dharam Buddhi; Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna; Prof. Ajay Singh; Prof. Gaurav Tomar (Scientist, Green Rebel, Dublin, Ireland); and Dr. Gaurav Sharma (Head, ZSI, Guest of Honor). 

Prof. Ajay Singh briefed the audience about the need for Nanomaterials and green technology for Viksit Bharat “Mission 2047.” More than 250 papers were received for the conference, and after review, selected papers will be published in Springer Nature journals. 

Mr. Abhinav Kumar, the chief guest, highlighted the need for environmental sustainability. Dr. Gaurav Sharma emphasized the importance of zoological biodiversity in sustainability, while Dr. Gaurav Tomar delivered a talk on the Blue Economy. The Vice Chancellor stressed the importance of quality innovations and research useful for society and industry. Dr. Yadnesh Kesari from Springer Nature delivered a talk on research integrity. 

International delegates who delivered online talks included Dr. Enrico Cattizzone (Professor, University of Calabria, Italy), Mr. Yadnesh Kumar (Springer Nature), and Dr. Tapas Sen (Lancashire University, UK). 

Keynote speakers such as Dr. M. C. Joshi (Professor, NFSU Delhi), Dr. S. S. Bisht (Scientist-E, FRI, Dehradun), Dr. Harish Chandra (Gurukul Kangri University), Dr. Rakesh Bhutiani (Editor, Environmental Conservation Journal), Dr. Bhuvnesh Kumar (IIT Delhi), Dr. Jagdish Singh (Punjabi University), and Dr. Anil Singh (Director, Daundi Biological Pvt. Ltd., Dehradun) also contributed. 

Outstanding students in various categories were awarded by members of the National Human Rights Commission and Social Justice (NHRCSJ). State President Dr. Amit John and Mr. Harish Kumar felicitated these students. More than 500 participants from national and international institutes attended the conference.
