A group of 35 students and 3 faculty members from SLA, UU visited the Valley of Words literature festival held at Madhuban Hotel, Rajpur Road, Dehradun on 16 November 2024. They witnessed several sessions during this literary fest that included book launches, discussions on books and other scholarly discussions. A session titled ' Cities of the Future' was conducted and the Master of Ceremony for this session was Dr. Yash Deep Singh, Associate Professor, SLA. This session focused on innovative urban planning ideas that might be useful for accommodating the requirements and demands of the fast-growing urban agglomerations across India in the 21st- century.
This was overall a great learning experience for the students of the School of Liberal Arts, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun. Ms Malika Payal and Ms Shilpi Prakash have accompanied the students.
