Prakriti Club of Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS), Uttaranchal University organized a Nukkad Natak on 14 October 2024 at Dehradun Railway Station in collaboration with the Nityanand Swami Jan Seva Samiti, encouraging citizens to adopt sustainable hygiene practices and keep public spaces clean.
Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Director, USCS addressed everyone and extended her best wishes motivating the participants to perform with enthusiasm and spread the message of cleanliness effectively.
Mr. Vinayak Sharma, President of Jai Youth Wing, graced the event with his presence and extended his support, encouraging the students to continue promoting social causes with the same enthusiasm.
The students highlighted issues like littering, improper waste disposal, and waste segregation through lively performances, using catchy slogans, songs, and skits to inspire sustainable hygiene practices. With the support of railway station employees, who ensured smooth conduct and managed the crowd, the event was both impactful and well-organized.
The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Manisha Khanduja and Ms. Manisha Saini with the support of volunteer students.
