Today, an important MoU was signed between the Police Training College Narendra Nagar and Uttaranchal University. The MoU was formalized with the exchange of documents between the University President, Mr. Jitendra Joshi, and the Director of the Police Training Centre, DIG Mr. Dadan Pal. Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajesh Bahuguna highlighted that this MoU will benefit Uttarakhand's police officers by providing access to the advanced infrastructure and expertise of Law College Dehradun. Conversely, Law College students will gain valuable insights from practical experiences with police officers, enhancing their understanding of law implementation. 

DIG Dadan Pal emphasized that Uttarakhand police personnel will have access to state-of-the-art resources, including an extensive online database, a library with the latest law books, and a functioning moot court at Law College Dehradun. This collaboration is expected to yield significant improvements in training programs and academic activities. 

University President Mr. Joshi noted that while the MoU outlines specific objectives, it also encompasses broader goals such as law application, research, innovation, and online education through various university departments.  

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dharam Buddhi praised the MoU as a pioneering step, stressing the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and practical entities in today's industry-focused educational landscape. 

On this occasion, Additional SP of Police College Training College, Mr. Shekhar Chandra Suyal, RI Mr. Akhlesh Kumar, University Registrar Dr. Anuj Kumar Rana and Law College Dehradun Principal Prof. Poonam Rawat were present.
