The Cultural Committee of the School of Applied and Life Sciences organized a Talent hunt for fresher students (2024-2025). More than 55 freshers participated in singing, dancing, and poetry recitation, out of which 18 students were selected for the final round. Prof (Dr) Ajay Singh, Director, SALS appreciated the efforts of the students who participated in the Talent Hunt. The prizes were distributed to winners in different categories. The award for the best solo singer was given to Priyanshu Issac, B Sc Biotechnology, The best classical dancer to Angi, M Sc Food Tech, The best Semi-Classical Dancer to Asmi, B Sc Biotechnology, The best Bollywood dancer to Vanshika; and the folk dancer to Rakhi M Sc Food Tech. Dr Himani Badoni, Coordinator, Cultural Committee, SALS, also appreciated students for their invaluable participation in the event. Dr. Sadhna Awasthi, Dr Ritu Painuli, Dr Madhulika Chaudhary, Ms Charu Saklani, Dr Pooja Yadav, Dr Shefalee Singh were also present to ensure the smooth conduction of the event. The event was coordinated by Dr Himani Badoni and Dr Shefalee Singh.
