To raise awareness against the harmful practice of ragging, the Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management recently organized a Poster Making competition. Held on 22 August 2024, the event aimed to encourage students to use their creativity to promote inclusivity, respect, and a zero-tolerance stance toward ragging.

Students from various batches enthusiastically participated, creating posters that highlighted the negative impacts of ragging and the importance of a supportive educational environment.

The competition was judged by the Director, USHHM and faculty members, who assessed the posters based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall impact.

Dr Manish Badoni, Director, and Mr Nitish Bhardwaj, Head, Anti-Ragging Cell, USHHM, spoke on the occasion, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in fostering a culture of respect and empathy among students. "Through this competition, we hope to spread awareness and remind everyone of their responsibility to build a positive and supportive community," they said.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes to the winners, celebrating their contributions to this vital cause.
