Anti-Ragging awareness campaign “Nayi Dosti Naya Safar” and “From Fear to Freedom”

Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences (USCS) organized a vibrant Anti-Ragging awareness campaign through various activities exclusively for freshers on 22 August 2024 with the theme “Nayi Dosti Naya Safar” and “From Fear to Freedom”. The aim of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for all students, while encapsulating the essence of new beginnings, celebrating the bond of friendship, and highlighting the exciting journey ahead for the students. 

The event was honored by the presence of Prof (Dr) Sonal Sharma, Directo, USCS and Dr Sameer Dev Sharma, HoD USCS. 

The competition was evaluated by Dr Ishteyaaq Ahmad and Dr Meera Sharma. The judging criteria were based on creativity and originality, effectiveness in conveying the theme, and overall presentation. The winners of the poster making competition were: Megha Chauhan BCA III E-First, Alok Ganesh Sinha MCA III A- Second, Anjali Bahuguna-BCA I B-Third. The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of Ms. Ruby Faizan, with the support of Dr Monisha Awasthi, Mr Dharmendra Kumar, Mr Harish Dutt Sharma and Ms Garima Rathi.
