The Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Uttaranchal University organised a workshop on “Hands-On Training on Analytical Techniques for Quality Research” on 09 April 2024 from 10:00 pm onwards. The workshop was collaborated with the Research and Innovation Department of Uttaranchal University. The demonstration of instrumentations was delivered by Ms Ashima Juyal, Assistant Professor and Ms Atreyi Pramanik, Assistant Professor, Department of Research and Innovation, Uttaranchal University. The main purpose of the event was to make students aware of the handling and working of advanced analytical instruments such as SEM, XRD, EDX-Analysis, and FTIR which are used in the characterization of pharmaceutical formulations. After the successful completion of the workshop, post-assessment was also conducted to evaluate students’ knowledge and learning. The workshop was attended by about 30 students from UIPS.
The event concluded with motivational words of Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean UIPS. The event was organized by faculty coordinators Dr Nidhi Nainwal, Associate Professor, Ms Yogita Ale, Assistant Professor and Ms Mansi Butola, Assistant Professor, UIPS.
