Poster Making Competition

Women's Cell of UIT celebrated the impactful contributions of women in science and technology through a Poster Making Competition held on the ground floor on 09 February 2024. The event showcased creativity, imagination, and artistry on the theme "Glory: Footprints of Girls in Science and Technology." The competition served as a meaningful platform for representation and raised awareness about the pivotal role women have played in shaping the science and technology sphere. Fifteen students were shortlisted based on content, communication, and enthusiasm, participating with great zeal. A distinguished judging panel, including Prof (Dr) S D Pandey, Prof (Dr) Sumit Chaudhary, Dr Pinki Chugh, Dr Bharti and Ms Sakshi Koli evaluated the entries based on creativity, relevance to the theme, use of colours and materials, and overall presentation and neatness.  

This competition encouraged creativity, empowerment, and acknowledgment of the remarkable journey of women in STEM. The deserving winners emerged as follows:  

1st Position - Ms. Shriyanshi Dangwal 

2nd Position - Ms. Anchal Dubey 

3rd Position - Ms. Divya Goel 

Ms Anuradha Brijwal and Ms Amita Bisht coordinated the event successfully.
