Law College Dehradun’s faculty members and students were awarded a certificate of appreciation for contributing in the developing of legal information in the form of FAQs for Nyaya Setu: AI-enabled unified Legal interface, an initiative under Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice, New Delhi Launched by Hon'ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar in Hamara Samvidhan - Hamara Samman campaign on 24th January 2024 at New Delhi.  

Awardees: Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Prof (Dr) Poonam Rawat, Dr Abhiranjan Dixit, Mr Sudeep Chandra, Ms Priyamvada Chandel, Ms Gargi Pant, Ms Himanshi Malwa, Ms Srishti and Ms Kanan Joshi. 

Shri Jitender Joshi, President University stated that it is a matter of pride for the University to appreciate the teachers and students at the Law College Dehradun for promoting the culture of Pro Bono in the country and spreading legal knowledge nationwide by the Ministry of the Government of India.  

Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice- Chancellor expressed that the Pro Bono Club of Law College Dehradun has been working under the guidance of the Ministry of Law and Justice for the last two years. He said that the App ‘Tele Law Nyaya Setu based on Artificial Intelligence is easy to use for the common man and to date more than 90 lakh people have benefited from it.
