Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences organised a visit to Velmed Hospital, Dehradun, a multi-specialty hospital situated in the heart of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. A total of 44 students from BPT, BMRIT and BMLT from Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences. Mr Nikhil Aggarwal and Ms Dipika Rawat coordinated the visit, covering various essential areas of the hospital such as the Physiotherapy, Radiology, Pathology department overview provided valuable insights into the hospital's functioning and infrastructure, enhancing the understanding of the healthcare system among the participants.
This visit provided students with a better understanding of healthcare practices and the challenges faced by healthcare professionals. They learned about the importance of teamwork, communication, and empathy in patient care. The visit also highlighted the importance of technology in modern healthcare and the need for continuous learning and adaptation in the field.
