Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University proudly presented the 2nd International Conference on Business Data Analytics in association with Springer on 7th December 2023. The conference aims to bring together industry experts, academic researchers, and students to explore the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the dynamic field of data analytics.
The inaugural ceremony was honored by the presence of Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi, distinguished Chief Guest (Prof.) Dr. Anita Rawat Director, Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC), the Guest of Honour of the event Prof. (Dr.) Meltem Huri Batuary( Founding Leader & President of LET-IN (LEarning & Teaching INnovations) R&D Group, and Instructor Konya Gıda ve Tarım Üniversitesi Turkey), KeyNote Speaker Mr. Michael Baron (CEO, Baron Consulting, Australia) and Ms. Sonam Sharma (Director, DataScience, Gartner), Prof. (Dr.) Satbir Sehgal (Vice President, Uttaranchal University), Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, (Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University), Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna,(Pro Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University),Prof.(Dr.) Abhishek Joshi (Executive Director-Student Affairs & IT Services) , Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma (Dean-USCS & Convener),Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Singh (Director-R&I Conference Chair), ), Prof. (Dr.) Anita Gehlot (Head, R&I and Conference Chair) Dr. Sameer Dev Sharma (Hod-USCS & Co-Convener),Mr.Abhishek Pathak(Organising Secretary), Dr.Monisha Awasthi(Associate Professor, Organising Co-Secretary).
Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma Dean, USCS extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries and emphasized that Business Data Analytics has emerged as a transformative force in the contemporary business landscape, catalyzing a paradigm shift in decision-making processes. She stated that a huge number of articles have been received and selected articles would be forwarded to publication partner, Springer, and subsequently submitted for inclusion in the Scopus index.
The Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Anita Rawat Director, USERC underscored the utilization of technology in the realm of business data analytics, concurrently emphasizing the imperative to confront issues related to sustainability and privacy.
The Honorable Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal University, Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi encouraged the young participants in the conference to gain insights into Business Data Analytics and its presentation.
Professor (Dr.) Satbir Sehgal, the Vice President of Uttaranchal University, asserted that Business Data Analytics is set to redefine the future landscape.
