Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University (Pharmacology Club) organized a quiz competition today on 7 November 2023 on "National Cancer Awareness Day". The theme of the Quiz Competition is Close the Care Gap.
The primary goal of National Cancer Awareness Day is to raise awareness about cancer, its risk factors, prevention, early detection, and treatment options. This helps in educating the students and the public about the importance of cancer prevention and early intervention. A total of 50 students participated in the competition. The Rules and regulations of the quiz were explained at the beginning. The event organized under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola. The event Supervised by Mrs Nidhi Gairola and student Coordinator Jyoti Pandit. It was a very informative and knowledge-enriching competition for the participants. All Students participated with full enthusiasm. The winner of the Quiz Competition is Anshika Shaurya, B Pharm I year Section-A & runner-up is Sanjana Rawat, B. Pharm I year Section-B.
