The Uttaranchal University Computer Science Club organized a Tech-Fest on September 29th, 2023. The chief guest of the event was Prof. (Dr.) S.D. Pandey (Dean, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology). The inauguration of the event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) S.D. Pandey, Prof. (Dr.) Sumit Chaudhary (Head of Department CSE) along with other faculty members.
Dr. S.D. Pandey delivered a speech about the importance of such events and complimented the club for their meticulous efforts.
After that, Dr. Sumit Chaudhary (HOD CSE, UIT) encouraged the participants to depict their talents and participate enthusiastically. He also appreciated the club for their hard work and dedication.
The Tech-Fest encompassed a variety of events that offered the students a great platform to showcase their talents and creativity. The events were Rampage, Ideathon, Web Craft, E-Poster, and Workshop on C.
Rampage was an online gaming event where the students showcased their gaming skills. Web Craft and E-Poster events tested the student's technical skillset wherein they depicted their web development and e-poster making skills, respectively. The workshop was aimed to provide the 1st year students with knowledge in C language that would help them in better understanding of computer languages.
The event came to a successful close with the distribution of medals, cash prizes, and certificates to the talented students who highlighted their exceptional skills and dedication. It was a moment of recognition and gratitude as certificates of excellence were presented to the hardworking committee members who contributed tirelessly to the event's organization and success.
