Law College Dehradun organized its orientation program on 17 August 2023, where the new students were welcomed by the Orientation team along with the faculty members of Law College Dehradun as a mark of a new beginning for all the freshers. The orientation began with a brief inaugural ceremony and felicitation of the guest. The Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean Law College Dehradun, Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna delivered his first Official address to the new entrants of the session 2023-24. The event began with lighting of ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana followed by University Kulgeet.
Prof (Dr) Poonam Rawat, Principal LCD commenced the event with a warm welcome to the students of the batch 2023. Prof (Dr) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro VC and Dean Law College Dehradun in his address proudly introduced the pillars of the college, the esteemed faculty members who work tirelessly for the upliftment of the students carrying forward the competitive spirit of the institute. He also emphasised the students to embrace unity in diversity as the college has a cosmopolitan atmosphere. He also threw light on the various curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the college, assimilating students to their new surroundings besides building up a positive attitude towards the student community. Discussing in detail the achievements and legacy he said, Law College Dehradun always strives to bring out the competitive side, independence, and drive to push them beyond boundaries and explore the excellence within.
Present on the occasion were all the faculty members and students at Law College Dehradun along with dignitaries. The entire program was detailed and anchored by Dr. V Bhuvaneswari and the occasion culminated with the National Anthem.
