Law College Dehradun organized a guest lecture under the aegis of the Youth Parliament Society, in collaboration with the Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), on the topic “Role of Arbitration in resolving disputes arising out of commercial transactions under the IBC Code”, by Ms Ruby Singh Ahuja, Senior Partner, Karanjawala & Co., New Delhi, on 05 May 2023. The speaker explained the basics regarding Arbitration and the IBC Code, besides its application in commercial disputes related to the IBC Code. Ms. Ahuja carefully drew a line between the two, explaining both sides of the coin. She perfectly enlightened the audience about the concepts like Resolution Professional (RP), Committee of Creditors (COC), giving example of Swiss Challenge Method. The lecture was concluded by a very interactive query session and then a formal vote of thanks by Mr. Iqbal Singh, Head CRC.
