On March 17, 2023, An expert talk on TV Journalism and News Anchoring was organized at Uttaranchal University, Dehradun under the aegis of Uttaranchal School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Mr. Syyed Aamir Hussain, Senior Special Correspondent, News Nation (PIB) New Delhi as guest speaker addressed our Journalism and Mass Communication Students. Pro Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal University Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna welcomed Mr. Syyed Aamir Hussain with bouquet.The event Co-ordinator Ms. Roohi Quadri, Assistant Professor, USJMC Delivered a welcome note for our guest speaker and addressed the students with the statement that the purpose of this interactive and informative session is to make you aware about the various aspects of TV Reporting and Anchoring on Practical Ground. In this informative session addressing to the students, Syyed Aamir Hussain told how Electronic Media and especially Television is changing nowadays. He also explained to the students that in media we have to do different reporting at different places. We have to keep our source secret and only after getting information from trusted sources it should be sent for output. Because if that news turns out to be wrong, then the entire responsibility becomes of that reporter. Dr. Vikash Singh, Director of Uttaranchal School of Journalism and Mass Communication, thanked the guest speaker. He also honoured our Guest Speaker with Memento.
