A workshop on “Art of Mixology and Flair Bartending” was held on December 1, 2022, at the Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management (USHHM), Uttaranchal University. The purpose of this workshop is to introduce hospitality students to the modern trends of the Alco-Bev industry. This workshop is committed to provide the opportunity for every interested individual to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for pursue of higher education in their own field UNAI- 5.


Mr. Manish Badoni, Principal, USHHM inaugurated the event. He addressed the audience and welcomed Mixologist and Assistant Professor Manish Sati. In his inaugural speech, Mr. Badoni quoted “I really believe that everyone has a talent, ability, or skill that he can mine to support himself and to succeed in life”. Mr. Manish Sati started the session with a presentation on –basics of Mixology, parts of mocktail, cocktails, and their types. At the end of the PPT session, Mr. Sati answered questions from students.


Later in the workshop, Mr Manish Sati demonstrated various cocktails and mocktails. He also showed students BAR equipment, Various Glasses, Ice Types, decoctions, and infused botanicals. The Session concluded with a Flair show. He exhibited 2 tins, 3 tin, 4 tin flair shows.
