A workshop on "Mexican cuisine" was held on November 30, 2022, at the Uttaranchal School of Hotel & Hospitality Management (USHHM), Uttaranchal University. Mr. Manish Badoni, USHHM's principal, inaugurated the event. He addressed the audience and welcomed Chef Setu Sharma, Assistant Professor, USHHM.
Chef Setu Sharma gave a presentation on the background, the influences of many foreign nations on Mexican food, and the usage of various materials and tools in Mexican cuisine. Later in the workshop, the chef showed a number of well-known meals, including tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, churros, salsa, and a few dips.
The purpose of this workshop is to make the culinary-inclined students familiar with Mexican cuisine. This workshop promotes Quality Education SDG Goal-4 in the field of food and beverage products in the hospitality sector.
