The Sports Club of Uttaranchal School of Computing Sciences, Uttaranchal University, organised Diksharambh Sports Activity on 8 September 2022 for the First Year students. The event sought to boost student’s physical and emotional well-being. Dean of USCS, Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma inaugurated the event and motivated the students to participate in sports activities. With their passion, the students participated in sports ranging from badminton to carom board and chess. Many students actively participated in the event.
Govind Madhav and Vibhav of BCA 1st year won the final match of badminton. Pankaj and Devansh from MCA 1st Year won the Carrom Competition. Navneet from BCA 1st Year won the chess competition. Dr. Tushar Anthwal, In-charge Sports Club, organised the event, which was accompanied by Mr. Praveen Shah, Ms. Vijaylakshmi Sajwan, Ms. Manisha Khanduja, Mr. Ishteyaaq Ahmad, Mr. Amarjeet Rawat, Ms. Manisha Saini, and Ms. Ruby Faizan. Overall, the event was successful.
